Three families set to fly to US
Kathmandu, March 09: Three families from Sanischare camp will fly to US as part of the third country resettlement of the exiled Bhutanese on March 10 afternoon.
The three families comprise 20 members, who will be second batch to fly to the US for resettlement. Earlier Hari Bangale’s family was flown.
Those flying to the US on March 10 denied coming into contact with Bhutan News Service but few other exiled Bhutanese who have come to Kathmandu through Yeti Airlines flight on Saturday said only 20 out of 60 people brought to Kathmandu will fly on Monday.
UNHCR official told BNS that they have no information about the resettlement process. “It is IOM and the US government who is responsible for all. We don’t have any information,” Nini Gurung of UNHCR said. Bhutan News Service
