Sarpang DYT formulates plans of development

Phuentsholing, September 05: The 85th DYT meeting in Sarpang that ended on Tuesday reviewed the progress made by the district in the ninth plan formulated plans for the next fiscal year.

The new plans prepared by the DYT have emphasized agriculture, livestock, and health and education sector development.

The DYT also sougth details of the crops damaged by the wild animals to provide compensation for the loss.

The strict implementation of the much criticized Driglam Namzha was also discussed and commended that everybody need to wear the national dress while coming to the Gup’s.

The Sarpang Dzongda Sangey Thinley ordered that civil servants, corporate employees, religious personnel and village leaders should remain apolitical. Bhutan News Service
