Exiled Bhutanese barred from working outside
Damak, March 07: The exiled Bhutanese, living in Jhapa and Morang districts, are now on prohibited from working outside the camps.
Stating that the local workers find it difficult to get job because the exiled Bhutanese work in a cheaper wages, the local workers of Jhapa and Morang barred them from working outside the camps.
The decision has been taken following the scuffle between locals and exiled Bhutanese in Sanischare camp two weeks earlier.
UNHCR, however, maintains that exiled Bhutanese should be allowed to work outside the camps. Bhutan News Service
