Youths attracted to YFC
Khudunabari, February 10: Youth Friendly Centre (YFC) has been supportive for the exiled Bhutanese youths who have been lingering in camps with no works.
YFC, a joint effort of the UNHCR and CARITAS Nepal, has its special focus in eradicating youths on social lapses and enhancing their involvement in finding solution of such social problems.
The program was initiated especially targeting school dropped out youths aged 18-25 years. The YFC in Khudunabari camp helps the workless youths to remain engaged with indoor games and library.
Coordinator of the YFC in this camp Bhim Gurung says, positive impacts are observed among the youths and general to society as well. He further says youths come to the YFC office, reads book available and participates in interactions and discussion on various social problems.
YFC also provides free coaching classes to poor students and targets to begin music classes as well in near future. Bhutan News Service/Tribikram Adhikari
