UNHCR urged to react upon PM’s statement
Kathmandu, January 11: A delegation of exiled Bhutanese leaders on Wednesday has urged the UNHCR country representative in Nepal, Abraham Abraham to react on the recent remark of Bhutanese Prime Minister terming exiled Bhutanese as ‘ready-made-terrorists’.
One of the delegates on condition of anonymity quoted Abraham as saying the UNHCR would soon inform the issue to the headquarter and respond immediately.
“This time we found the UNHCR country representative more positive towards repatriation of exiled Bhutanese”, the delegate said. He further informed BNS that they also handed over an appeal. However, he denied revealing the content. Bhutan News Service/ T. P. Mishra
