UNHCR refutes report (Brief)
Kathmandu, March 03: United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) refuted that its staffs had not reached Goldhap camp on Saturday evening to help control the spreading fire.
In a letter to editor, UNHCR's external relations assistant based in Kathmandu Nini Gurung said UNHCR staffs as well as from its NGO partners were in the camp on the night of the incident (01 March 2008).
She said a team of seven UNHCR staffs along with staffs from all UNHCR's NGO partners attended the camp on the following morning. Bhutan News Service
