SRK, Katrina guests for coronation celebration

Thimphu, September 20: Indian film starts Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif will entertain guests, folks and royals on Bhutan during the coronation ceremony of King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk.

The performance will be conducted in the newly reconstructed stadium in Chamlimithan ground, Thimphu.

The duo has been invited to the celebration on special royal request as the new king is fond of Indian movies.

The coronation will be graced by a whooping team of politicians from India including President Prativa Patil, chair of United Progressive Alliance Sonia Gandhi, Congress (I) general secretary Rahul Gandhi and External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee among others.

President Pratibha Patil will be the chief guest of the function while UPA chair Gandhi is a special invitee.

The celebrations are planned for November 6-8 in Thimphu where large number of guests from across the globe will participate. Bhutan News Service
