Resettlement process accelerates
Kathmandu, May 10: United States, who has vowed to resettle over 60,000 exiled Bhutanese, has accelerated the process of resettlement.
Along with US, first batch to Australia is planned to leave Kathmandu on Sunday night. A number of families have set off to US this week.
The US has said it will take some 8,000 by the end of this year. As the resettlement process gets accelerated, number of exiled Bhutanese applying for resettlement has increased over the last few months.
More than 200 individuals have left Nepal by now. Bhutan News Service
