Jan 9: Jit Bahadur Pradhan, a Bhutanese resettled in Pittersberg ,USA was found dead yesterday around 4:30 am.
According to Bhanu Phuyel, a Bhutanese resettled there, he was spotted hanging at neighbour’s laundry.
Pradhan, 60, was resettled from Beldangi-II Extension, Sector E-1, hut no 40 on December 2, 2009 whose settlement was sponsored by the Catholic Charity of Pittsburgh.
He was sharing a three bed room apartment at 903 Vermont Avenue, Pittersburg with the family of Om Prakash Chhetri.
His dead body is taken by the police for further investigation. The exact cause of his death is not yet known but according to Phuyel, he had begun to show the sign of depression.
Survived by his wife Kamala Pradhan and children, Pradhan counts as the second resettled Bhutanese to hang after resettlement in America.

It is the time to find out the real cause of such unbearable incident among the desperate Bhutanese community resettled.Definitely it is the sorry case and i pray for his departed soul ,condolence for the family.
We the Bhutanese Refugees resettled in New York City are shocked by hearing the news of sudden and untimely demise of Jit Bdr. As he was in the camp, he made all the people satisfied. He was loyal,comitted,dutiful and lovable to everyone in the camp.Indeed,we are unable to describe his services to the people for a long stay in the community.
