Police nab six drug smugglers (Crime)
Thimphu, June 14: The cases of drug smuggling in the country have been increasing with police arresting six people within this week.
The police had arrested smugglers and drug tablets in large quantities few weeks back as well. According to police officials, the smugglers include people between 17 and 30 years of age including three students.
One of the eldest of the group was arrested twice in the past on similar cases. He has confesses with police that they brought the drugs from Falakata in India and sell in the country.
Thimphu, Paro, Trongsa and Phuentsholing are major cities where drug market has expanded over the years. Bhutan News Service
