NFD stresses on repatriation
Damak, May 06: A meeting of the central committee members of National Front for Democracy (NFD) – Bhutan held in Damak on Saturday has decided to launch various programs for expediting the process of repatriation.
The representatives from Bhutan Peoples’ Party (BPP), Druk National Congress (Thinley) and Bhutan Gorkha National Liberation Front (BGNLF) attended the meet.
Addressing the program, leaders have stressed on the need to continue struggle for democracy in Bhutan. They strongly opposed the US offer of third country resettlement of the exiled Bhutanese.
A source from the NFD told BNS that they would soon announce different phases of programs to garner support and solidarity for early repatriation. Bhutan News Service/Puranaghare
