Nepalese Parliamentarians suggest PM Koirala to raise exile issue With Inida
Kathmandu, June 5: At a time exiled Bhutanese are on with their indefinite sit-in protest in front of United Nation office in Kathmandu, the Nepalese parliamentarians at the Sunday session of reinstated House of Representatives (HoR) suggested that Nepal should talk on their issue with India.
Taking time to convey wishes to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala for successful India visit, they said Nepal should seek support from India to find solution of the crisis.
Former minister and senior leader of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) Raghuji Pant said Bhutanese refugee issue should also be one of the major agenda of prime minister. Similarly, chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Sumsher Rana suggested PM in seeking Indian support to help resolve exile Bhutanese crisis.
In a separate event, Pro Lok Ran Baral also urged that issue of exiled Bhutanese should be one of the top agendas for prime minister to be raised with India. Addressing a face to face programme organised by Reporters' Club on Sunday Baral stressed that without the involvemet of India, it was impossible to finding solutions to more than a decade-and-half-year exile issue.
