Leaders claim RGOB spies infiltrated 'Long March'
Dharan, June 05: The leaders of National Front for Democracy (NFD) claimed the incident at the Mechi Bridge was due to infiltration of some Thimphu spies.
Leaders, who reached B. P. Koirala hospital in Dharan on Tuesday to see the condition of those injured in the firing by Indian security forces while trying to go ahead with the long march, said India's indiscriminate firing at the peaceful march of the exiled Bhutanese is the proof that India still protects absolute monarchy in Bhutan.
The leaders however, said the campaign for peaceful and voluntary repatriation would continue and effort would go on to convince the Indian authorities of the demands by the Bhutanese citizens through international forums.
Five severely injured exiled Bhutanese have been undergoing treatment at the hospital. Bhutan News Service
