HEHE reaches Sarpang

Gelephu, September 10: The officials in Sarpang dzongkhag Tuesday announced that they adopted the idea of Helping our Environment, Health and Economy (HEHE), which government introduced to downsize the use of petroleum products and protect environment.

According to Chief Forestry Officer (CFO), Kado Tshering, district’s Forest Division and Dzongkhag staff voluntarily came forward to take up the campaign in Sarpandtar and Gelephu.

Sarpang dzongda led the walk at Sarpangtar while it was Dungpa in Gelephu to lead the walking group.

Minister Dr. Pema Gyamtsho had visited to Tsirang and Sarpang last week to encourage officials at Dzongkhag and RNR on the initiation. Bhutan News Service
