Film makers concerned of piracy (Entertainement)
Thimphu, January 21: Motion Picture Association of Bhutan (MPAB) in a gathering in Thimphu on Tuesday said pirating of Bhutanese films have gone beyond control.
Bhutanese film makers claimed that pirated movies are being screened in towns across the border and in other countries before they are released in the local market.
The film makes discussed alternatives like inscription of digital films to control the piracy despite the technology being expensive.
The gathering reelected Ugyen Tshechup Dorji as the President of Motion Pictures Association of Bhutan (MPAB) and Da Lopsang is elected as the Vice President along with 14 executive members for next three years term. Bhutan News Service
