Charges to Zangpo are baseless says NFD (Politics)

Birtamode, November 21:The National Front for Democracy in Bhutan (NFD-Bhutan) said the recent allegations to  Tenzin Gawa Zangpo,  General Secretary of the Druk National Congress Democratic, were fabricated and baseless.

 “No charges quoted by various Medias referring to the findings of the interrogation processes have any relevance to the Bhutanese movement and its people”, reads a statement issued by NFD-Bhutan.  

The NFD-Bhutan, a coalition of political parties in exile, also said there was no any logical reason for any Bhutanese joining anti-India movement.    

The NFD-Bhutan has expressed its serious concern about Zangpo's life, liberty and justice. The NFD-Bhutan has also appealed to the entire national and International human rights organisations, Amnesty International and the International Committee of the Red Cross to raise their voice on the arrest urging for Zangpo’s fair trials.
