Bhutan moves up in Christian black list
New Delhi, February 06: Bhutan has moved up in the black list prepared by the Christians in terms of religious prosecution and discriminations against the Christian in the year 2007.
It moved from 7th position in 2006 to 5th position in 2007 in the list published by Open Doors of USA.
There were few instances of prosecution and threat against Christians in Bhutan last year. Two were jailed for months on charges of preaching the religion.
The organization has listed North Korea at the top and Saudi Arabia, Iran and Maldives follow it. Yemen, Afghanistan, Laos, Uzbekistan and China also included in the list. Bhutan News Service
