Bhutan king to visit India

Thimphu, February 05: Bhutan's new king Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck will mark Six-day official visit to India starting from February 7.

During this visit India and Bhutan will sign the  57 year old ‘Friendship Treaty’.

This is Wangchuk's first visit to a foreign country after taking over responsibilities from his father King Jigme Singye in December last year.

It is learnt that he will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Khandu Wangchuk and other officials. Bhutan News Service
