Bhutan-India cooperation talks
New Delhi, March 07: Foreign secretary Yeshey Dorji led a Bhutanese delegation arrived New Delhi Wednesday for a Bhutan-India Development Cooperation Talks scheduled for March 8-9. The talks are held yearly.
The delegation includes high-level government officials as well.
The two governments would review India-sponsored Project-Tied Assistance in the IX Five Year Plan and discuss additional financing to new projects.
India is Bhutan's largest development partner providing assistance in key areas like culture, education, health, energy, roads, IT, media, HRD and agriculture.
Last round of talks were held in New Delhi in January 2006. Bhutan News Service
