BACC asks resignees for reconsideration, urges unity (Update)
California (USA), January 16: The Bhutanese American Community Center (BACC) has asked those who have resigned from the center to reconsider their resignation and remain as before.
The Center's B. B. Thapa has appealed all eight Bhutanese dwelling in California who earlier left the group to sit for dialogue to settle grievances.
"I request all to reconsider their resignation and specify the grievances or concerns," said Thapa adding, "We can sit and resolve the issue through dialogue".
Earlier its executive director Ananta Gurung had also expressed his sadness and asked all to rejoin the organization and remain under its guidence.
BACC has claimed that it is the first organization of Bhutanese formed in the US and is working actively in California to support Bhutanese community.
Association of Bhutanese in America is another organization formed by Bhutanese in the US and is working at national level.
