It was a good plan for the camp secretaries to feel for the people and try to visit the resettled areas.From this interview what I feel is Camp Secretaries often try to misunderstand their responsibilities.They are responsible to see and support the refugees in the camps for the UNHCR/implementing partners and Govt agencies.But in no case they are responsible for making discissions for the refugees in terms of Repatriation or TCR.
    Withdrawal of their request from UNHCR “UNDER PRESSURE” from the Moasists and making big Media hype is a shamful act from a responsible lot.I suggest the Camp secretaries not to be emotional and avoid stepping on two boats.But I appreciate the way Mr.Rai acoknowleged the reality and the pressures inflicted to them.I suggest the Camp Secretaries to be cautious and careful before making any press realeases.
    Please concentrate in delivering the donations and other assistance to the refugees and advocate their problems to the concerned authorities rather clownes.

    I wish a group of Journos/Human Rights ativits like Mr.Dahal were the members of the joint ministerial talk team /Joint Verification Team.Unfortunatel that never happened,also politicians/members of the talk team became more thankful to the Jigme Govt.for the RED CARPET WELCOME given to them in Bhutan.

  3. Shame to camp secretary! Language fluency, weightage of stand, too childish. There is no alternative than learning. Learning is a movement and if this lots become learned, everything will take a right direction. People will be submissive and decent.
    Thanks for supporting our movement for right activist. Can Dahalji form a campaign mission to pressurize the Govt. of Bhutan with atleast a representative from each and every nation of world? I do believe that Gandhian strategy worked on hit and trail mechanism rather than a discrete operation.

  4. first i wanted to give deep and grief sympathy to K.b khadka’s family that his departed soul will rest in peace in heaven.All the bhutanese refugee in America was shock by the sudeen and untimely death of khadka.He is one of jeniune members of community and social workers.By the this accident this shows that the camps situation is not manage by the government of nepal.

  5. Having heard the interview with the camp secy; based on his idea and speech, who doesnot deserve to be a representative, I am worried about the future of those innocent Bhutanese refugees in the camp. Give them an outlet to think freely and let them decide for the future of their Generations.

  8. we think that all camp secritery wanna to come in america and visit all bhutanese who arrived just before one year and see their condition,this views is not in positive sense.this views that they all who is fighting to bhutan to return back are also ready to be involved in third settlement but before to put application they have to think that is why what we wanna to tell bhutanese communist party that becareful with this camp head man and if really they want to do this u all check them and give them what they want and give punishment which they never forget about their great mistake again who will rule camp again.purshotam jhe dont talk only more only but also try to do in practically about this great issue hai.

  9. These all camp secretaries and other earlier leaders who had given support to the Maoist activities are now trying to cheat and make the way to come here in USA for resettlement. Subash Acharya and Narad Muni Saneysi also left the camp to make the process for resettlement as forgetting the past activities done to the people by supporting the Maoist. I don’t want to say anything bad to you all and say not to come here for resettlement, I only felt that animals also be trained one day to do the work, similarly you all are now known of the word “RESETTLEMENT” to take its process safely. So I wish you all to have and make your new life soon without disturbing the mind of innocence people for resettlement in the camp and being misused them in the wrong direction to spoil their future. Like you make the other people also to resettle soon without being disturbed for their process.

    So lastly I would like to suggest you all leaders who are misusing the innocence youth in the camp to take the resettlement process without disturbing others process being becoming DEMONS.

    I and other peaceful minded resettled refugees need peace not only to the leaders but also to all the people of the camp to have their peaceful life after being resettled.

    Let GOD bless you all to be a peaceful minded people not a demons like S.P. Subba, Taraman Mukarung, Ramesh Subba.Yadav Gurung,Bhakta Gurung and Pahalman Rai .
