GOOD IDEA.
THANKS A LOT TO DR. DNS DHAKAL FOR HIS VALUABLE TIME AND THOUGHTS.
THOUGHTS ARE ALWAYS GREAT.THIS ONE IS NOT AN EXCEPTION EITHER.
I CANNOT CATCH THE PURPOSE OR OBJECTIVE OF SUCH ORGANIZATION. TO ME, THE OBJECTIVE IS NOT CLEAR.
FIRST OF ALL THERE MUST BE AN QUESTION TO BE TACKLED OR A PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED. TO DO IT A GROUP OR ORGANIZATION CAN BE FORMED WITH A SET OF OBJECTIVES, STRATEGIES AND GUIDELINES.
HERE THE CRAZE SEEMS, FIRST TO START AN ORGANIZATION AND COLLECT OBJECTIVES AND PROBLEMS TO TACKLE.
OTHER REASON SEEMS: INDIANS AND NEPALESE HAVE THEIR ORGANIZATIONS, WHY NOT WE?
ANYWAY AN ORGANIZATION WILL BE FORMED SOON, FOR MANY PEOPLE SEEM EAGER TO HAVE ONE. IF ESTABLISHING AN ORGANIZATION IS THE PRIME OBJECTIVE OF THE RECENT STAMPEDE, THE MISSION WILL REACH THERE FAST AND REMAIN THERE FOR GOOD.
REGARDS
Dahakji stop dreaming taking us back to Bhutan, instead help us all to get resettled and live a decent life..we are completly against your thoughts coz we saw what you did to take us back to Bhutan for last two decade.. you all are useless and we Bhutanese refugees dont trust you anymore……
I like the idea of NRB but I don’t like Dr. DNS Dhakal’s proposal of having its base office in Nepal. He is also a little confused about the possible objectives of the NRB; therefore, he tries to link NRB with refugee politics, albeit he tries to convince by saying that political activists cannot get involved in the functioning of the NRB.
It’s easy to say that our leaders haven’t been able to do anything until now, just because we are not as yet back to Bhutan….. progress doesn’t mean getting back to Bhutan right away, getting back alone isn’t enough. We need assurance & security for ourselves, for our coming generation……this is not possible at the moment so the NRB idea is a step ahead…..we cannot run unless we learn to walk first….. so if the NRB issue can give us an international exposure we should welcome this idea & join our hands.
The resettlement process has taken our people in different places in quite a no. so this is an advantage for us not to join hands & start a secure organization which can be of help for us for the future but we need faith & support from eachother to make this happen. It’s time we stop pin pointing only the things not been able to do by our leaders, they have been doing it for all these yrs, just that some issues hasn’t been able to work out since there still hasn’t been response from Bhutan to join hands.
Lets just unite for the betterment of all of us since the possibilities are more vast now. I hope that our people who r already settled in various part of the world will give a positive thought for the NRB & give it a try…… we owe it to our ancestors, ourselves & for our future generation. Lets just keep all the negative vibes aside & move ahead….. Best wishes to all.
Dear Govinda, Bhutia and Rose,
I appreciate your concerns. Having an office in Kathmandu, Thimphu or elsewhere are minor details and could be agreed upon by the group. Also, NRB not linking with the refugee politics is also OK if that could stand on its own. I am certain that it should be led by people who are resettled abroad and not someone working in Bhutan or this part of the world.
No body will stop resettlement process. It is individual’s choice. We should respect for those who would like to continue to struggle for repatriation to Bhutan although life could be worst than in the camps. It is their rights.
With all the best
To,
Dr DNS Dhakal,
Dear Sir,
Thanks for your nice response.
I want to work with you all, in the preliminary phase of planning and discussion.

Regards
Govinda

To,
Dr.DNS Dhakal,
Dear sir,
The issue regarding importance of formation of Non-Resident Bhutanese Network is the need of the hour for all the bhutanese living in different countries.I strrongly support the idea.
to,the NRB member,it is personnal feeling, including DNS Dhakal there were so many so called leaders till now, can these old outdated leadership can give new vision to the NRB.non of the bhutenese have belive on their leaders because of immuture leadership.so i thik there should new able youth to lead the misson of NRB for succesfull conclosion.so let old leaders think about thier past and give future for youth.if not it is clear that 1990s leaders are not clears about their mission, so let god gives power for bhutenese leaders to work with youth and respect the power of youth in the world history, including dhakal let us not show drama in the name of NRB i internation communities.
DNSji, you have done a lot to Bhutanese refugees to your own way. Now, don’t let others be danced on your tune of “Narad Muni’s” conspiracy.
Did you visit and talk to Bhutanese who are working in USA? They may have different views than what you informed in Saranathi Sarakar. Don’t let others to think in different ways because they don’t have time to think about politics but resettled Bhutanese have their MOTHERLAND in their heart,no NRB; because they know their leaders when they landed in refugees camps.
So please no more “Bhagawat Gita’s” kuthniti.
You may be dreaming of like NRI, those who have been in USA for several decades and have good amount of budget even to support Indian Goverment.
It would be better to think about NRB after a decade, don’t be blind and start to implement with persons who have gone to USA several years ago to attened conferance for the Bhutanese refugees. They are no less then you as a player.
Do you know the sector-J of Beldangi-II?
Do you have any experiance of refugee camp? If not why are going to be popular in the eyes of refugees.Try to be quite as before.Who are u? Are you a refugee before?Do you have Camp address?IF you have so and experience of refugee camp than only you are suppose to give conversation other wise there are lots of bhutanese who will handle this sorts of activity.Try not to be as hero infront of all the people coz u r not likely to be so.You are one of the hopeless of all bhutanese refugee.
Thanks
x-ray
