Military training to students
Thimphu, September 29: Royal Bhutan Police has intensified the militancy sensitization of the youths in the country as per its announced policy to avoid them engaged in activities against the government activities.
The police in a recent training camps indoctrinated on consequences they could face if they involved in conflict, raising voices against laws.
The projects was launched after armed underground group became a place of attraction for distracted youths in southern and eastern districts.
RBP sensitised 6,913 students from five higher, two middle, one lower secondary schools and a training institute. Many have been employed as spies to the security agencies.
The government targets to provide militancy training to over 42,000 students in 64 middle and higher secondary schools which will begin across the country by the first week of October. Bhutan News Service
