YOB cadres donate blood
California (USA), June 23: Youth Organization of Bhutan (YOB), issuing a press statement yesterday, said it organized blood donation camp on June 20 to in Beldangi II to mark World Refugee Day 2008.
The statement signed by YOB president Rajen Giri mentioned that altogether 52 exiled youths, mostly its own members, donated blood to Bhutanese Refugee Primary Health Care Project under AMDA-Nepal that looks after the health and sanitation of exiled Bhutanese.
As said by the statement, YOB tanked Mamta Giri and Phal Man Rai for their financial contribution to organize the camp.
“YOB extends its sincere thanks to Camp Management Committee of Beldangi-II and volunteers from Youth Friendly Center for their valuable contribution and assistance”, stated the release. Bhutan News Service
