WFP security guard shot at
Beldangi, January 22: An unidentified group has shot a security guard of World Food Programmee (WFP) today at around 4.20 pm during his duty hour in Beldangi-II extension camp.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Lamichane, Lok Bahadur Limbu, 59 sustained critical injury due to the bullet that pierced his cheek and passed through temple.
Lamichane further informed that Limbu is undergoing medical treatment at the BP Koirala Memorial Hospital in Dharan.
Limbu is a permanent resident of Damak-3.
Motive behind the shooting has not been known. Bhutan News Service
