Thimphu, February 18, 2009: World Bank and the Ministry of Economic Affairs are to begin a Bhutan Enterprise Survey for the first time this year.
The fund is channeled through Finance and Private Sector Development Sector Unit of the South Asia (SASFP) in collaboration with the Financial and Private Sector Development Network (FPD) of the World Bank.
An invitation for expression of interest for the project by the ministry says, the selected firm will be responsible for translation of the survey questionnaire from English to the appropriate languages, face-to-face interviews with business managers using a standard questionnaire developed by the World Bank, and the entry and cleaning of the data into a homogeneous data set.
The selected firm will conduct approximately 150 interviews under the guidelines provided by SASFP and FPD.
