Five public figures awarded

Beldangi, November 01: The Bhutan Gajal Manch in a recent public function has awarded five personalities recently for their contribution in favor of the Bhutanese community in exile. 

Ganga Ram Lamitarey has been awarded for his contribution to promoting media among the Bhutanese youths. Nawaraj Lamsal, a radio jockey of Radio Nepal and Mani Kamal Chhetri of Darjeeling (India) have also been awarded for their contribution towards the good of Bhutanese community.

Other people receiving the awards include Sumitra Wangdel ‘Cheli’ for her contribution in the field of literature Kiran Rashaili for his devotion in promoting music. Bhutan News Service
