Fire damages CMC office in Beldangi
Beldangi, February 09: The office of the camp management committee of Beldangi II extension camp in Jhapa district was set ablaze on Thursday night.
It has not been known how the office was set to fire or who was involved in the incident.
The fire damaged the CMC office, go-down building of the non-food items, office of the Bhutanese Refugee Children Forum and a hut nearby.
All documents of the CMC were burnt.
The fire was taken under control after several hours with the help of fire brigade from Damak municipality. Camp secretary Monarath Khanal said an estimated Rs 200,000 worth of properties was damaged by the fire. Bhutan News Service
