Book on monarchy published

Thimphu, February 29: A book on royal dynasty of Bhutan has been unveiled amidst a function organized in Thimphu on Friday.

The book entitled '100 years of Monarchy' contains the history of monarchy, life of the monarchs who ruled the kingdom for the last 100 years.

The book also includes major achievements made during the Wangchuk reign of 100 years.

Publishers say, part of the revenue generated from the sales of book will go for education of girls and women.

The publication is a part of activities celebrating the centenary of the Bhutanese monarchy. Bhutan News Service
