Bhutanese living in US extend financial support to heart patient
Kathmandu, February 27: Eight Bhutanese living in the United States of America have contributed a sum of 10, 000 Nepalese currency for the treatment of Sabitri Gurung, 21, a temporary resident of Beldangi-II Extension, Sector A-4/44.
Raj Giri, who coordinated for the contribution informed Bhutan News Service that Mumta Giri, Rita Thapa, Kiran Pradhan, Dick Chhetri, Pal Rai, Sunita Chhetri and Anup Lepcha are other contributors.
Giri has also asked all Bhutanese fellow mates dwelling abroad to contribute to save the life of Sabitri.
Sabitri, who has recently undergone valvular replacement, is now discharged from Sahid Gangalal Heart Foundation at Bansbari, Kathmandu.
