Assembly concludes
Thimphu, January 10: The 86th session of the National Assembly concluded on January 8 with traditional celebrations taking few but important decisions.
This was the first National Assembly session taken place since the throne was passed over to fifth monarch Jigme Khesar namgyal Wangchuk and first discussion on the exiled Bhutanese.
"The Speaker also commended the Royal Advisory Council (RAC) for reporting to the Assembly on the actions taken by government ministries and organisations to follow on the resolutions of the Assembly," Kuensel reports.
