United Revolutionary Front asks new settlers to leave
Kathmandu, January 14: The cadres of the United Revolutionary Front of Bhutan (URFB) entered some villages in Leupani block of Sarang district on January 10 and asked the new settlers occupying lands and farms of of the southern Bhutanese to vacate.
"Our cadres at central battalion have asked them to return to their respective villages where they have come from," said the release issued by URFB today.
"They have been warned of any untoward happenings in near future," told Karma, the commander-in-chief of URFB.
The URFB said that about 60 percent of lands in Samtste, Chukha, Sarpang, Tshirang, Dagana and Samdrupjonkhar have been allotted to the northern Bhutanese. Bhutan News Service
