SAARC Home Ministers gather in New Delhi

New Delhi, October 24: The third conference of the home ministers of the SAARC member countries have begun in New Delhi on Tuesday which is expected to lay emphasis on greater cooperation between the SAARC members to fight terrorism.

The member countries, all of them having problem of terrorism, have come into a common platform to curb terrorism, organized crimes, narcotics, smuggling and human trafficking in their respective countries.

Comprehensive mechanism to draw mutual legal assistance to check trans-border crime and trafficking of children and women will be high on the agenda in this conference. Bhutan News Service
