  1. Govinda has spoken his heart and passed good suggestions, but around the frame; the frame of fighting with RGOB and being able to return to Bhutan. It is high time for us to think outside the frame and, if found necessary, gradually squeeze it to nullity. The insights and opinions depend upon how much one can view on both the sides, and how far can he or she extend his or her mind. One-sided views from any third party is actually a curse. Condemnable in a Court of Law.

    A supporter of ours like Govindaji should say that we should fight with our government in good manners, and in case of failure we should settle in other countries and try to be happy with that.

  3. Who the hell is he/she to say,”ALL BHUTANESE LEADERS ARE IN BHUTAN. I DONT KNOW WHICH BHUTANESE LEADERS YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT” There are no democratic leaders in Bhutan. It is known to all that if there is any [……….] in the world, it is Bhutan. Bhutan, where human rights of the people is totally curtailed. It is Bhutan where the autocratic government evicts its civilized and peace loving people.

  5. Carol, you must be talking about Bhutan’s neighbour, Nepal. They don’t have democratically elected leaders. With Bhutan, the last time I checked, they had a fully functional set of leaders…democratically elected, if I may. And, Bhutan is for Bhutanese, not for people from Nepal, India or elsewhere. If Bhutan is not too civilized for you, why don’t you find yourself one…elsewhere. If you are Nepali, that would be Nepal. Similarly, if you are American, go to America. If you are no one else, you should shut up and stay where you are. The only thing you civilised people are good at is….well, making noise. You are a dying breed. Rust in Peace!

  6. Hey Grrr, can you define Bhutanese ??? Bhutanese are those who had land and properties in Bhutan before 1958. Bhutanese refugees are those people from South Bhutan who were evicted by your evil King Jigme Singye in early 1990s by deploying army to torture and rape the Southern Bhutanese. Now their land are given to the Western and Eastern Bhutanese. Anybody who can get permission to visit Southern Bhutan can find out from the newly settled people for how long they have been leaving there not more than five years.They will tell you King gave them land to settle, your Gunda Boss King looted our land and gave them. These evicted people legally possessed land in Bhutan for several decades. Only in early 1990s they were declared illegal immigrants.How come Bhutan Government let them register the land in their names if they were illegal immigrants.

    Who are Bhutanese ??? the ones whose forefathers immigrated from Tibet along with similar dress,culture, religion, even language. Dzongkha , your formal official language is Chhoekey, formal Tibetan language. Now tell me which Bhutanese you are talking about ??? Bhutanese of Tibetan origin, Bhutanese of Indo Burman origin or Bhutanese of Nepali origin. Go back and find your origin in Tibet.

  7. My dear Grrrrrr, thanks for your baseless and filthy comments. First of all let me clear myself to you. I am neither from beautiful country, Nepal nor from the land of autocratic ruler, Bhutan. I am well aware of my nationality and I don’t think that it is necessary for you to clarify about it. I have nothing to say about nationality but my only concern is about your narrow vision and perception about the so called leadership that you have in your country. If I am not mistaken, let me teach you that the so called leadership that you are talking about and the so called democracy that you see in Bhutan are not leadership and democracy in true sense. It may sound true and real to those for the poor frogs of a small pond. True leadership is that which takes intensive care of its people. It is true leadership which advocates for the cause of human rights and general well being. It is not a democratic country which evicts its genuine citizens. Democracy is not the direct rule of an autocratic king. Democracy is for the people, by the people and to the people.
    You are absolutely correct that Bhutan is for the Bhutanese. But, at the mean time, you are missing somewhere else thinking that the people who are living in Bhutan since recent past are only the Bhutanese and those who passed several generations in Bhutan, those who initiated development in Bhutan (now spending refugee life due to the ethnic cleansing policy adopted by the autocratic government of Butan) are not the Bhutanese. Finally, I suggest my poor boy to go through some of the literatures of democracy, citizens, nationality, human rights, freedom, election, parliamentary system of governance, etc.

    Let not debate on what comment other make about us rather we should make people debate on what we do for change in Bhutan. We know Who we are and what we are. If I am born and grew up inside water I can be either fish or some aquatic organism. if someone tells me donkey it is well understood that his/her nervous system has failed functioning. Remember the story of Father, son and a donkey. Only eskimo knows to built a house of ice.

I like this interview because ONE LEADERS GOVINDA thapa said that; third country resettelment is not a interest it is one of the option out of three option to returned back to bhutan and settel in Nepal.if u not come in usa then what is the situation of refugee in camp what leaders will do for people.I thing they will do nothing .They r only money maker

    How you dare to brand me nepali/nepalies. I was born in chirang. Is not chirang part of bhutan? I completed my primary education from Burichhu Pry. school in chirang. boy, study Bhutan Geography. I completed my middle school from shemgang junior high school, High school from yangchenphug high school and bachelor from sherubtse college in tashigang district. I have stepped every parts of bhutan and have given my introduction to every chemical,biological and physical matters of bhutan. Bhutan is my mother. I am born out of Bhutan. I am Bhutanese by birth. You might be an illegal Tibetan immigrant trying to hide your true identity and project yourself as an artificial bhutanese. Truth will reveal in no time. My motherland had experience enough tyranny under absolute tyrannt. The count down for the tyrannical rule has started and the dooms day is very near.The bhutanese tyrannt will perish like the one in nepal.

    sikidas thank u for yours suggestion,if u r real bhutanese n spend the 18th yrs life in camp ,u will not ask like this man,we all r the victims of leader,because of their ego,selfishness we all bhhutanse have to think to do sth.
    u may fall on same categories.if all leader have unity than we noneed to spend our life for 18th yrs refugee camp.we know what a pain is ,because of coward leader many people r compalied to go for resettlement process which is very misfortunity for all of us,have u ever think???????????????

  19. the [………] says my king is evil and a [….] Boss who evicted the southern bhutanese from their land in early 90s.who persuaded to abandon the land or being evicted is the truth every Legal Bhutanese and illegal bhutanese Know.i used this word “illegal” now because till this moment i use to consider those living in refugee camps as the fellow bhutanese who were lured to hate bhutan by the […..] teknath rizal and other mastermind.i was wrong.
    for everybodys information the people living in Jhapa and Beldangi left bhutan for some few who did not get what they didnot deserved.(this few people want to dictate the country and its people).My kings effort to stop this people from leaving was in vain.this were the words my king sadly has to hear.”Mao Khalo Pharkera aaye pun, hume pharkera aaon de na”(We will not return even if the river Mao flows back to its source)(river mao is in southern district of sarbang).they were never evicted,THEY ABANDONED BHUTAN.
    after their departure series of brutal killing broke out in the southern bhutan for years.gangs of those so called refugees attacked the people of their origin in southern bhutan.Mission: to persuade those living in bhutan to leave bhutan.On refusal they were [……..] and much worse manner of killing which a normal human can barely stare. bhutanese security personnel were lost in great numbers.infrastructures were damaged.conspiracy to destroy bhutan were blooming with evry change in the direction of the wind.
    my question to the viewers:why did these so called refugees entered bhutan despite swearing not to return and killed the people of their race.because they envied the prosperity of those living in bhutan.their once thought heaven turns out to be a living hell.
    Now you people are no longer bhutanese.so live your life and let the southern bhutanese and bhutanese in general breathe the air of happiness and peace.Now the people living southern bhutan are one of the better part of my country.you peole went loooking for yours owns doomsday.understood […….] sita.

  22. Ajay, You are still in a small pond you have not seen an ocean. I could read your mind and have concluded that your heart is as small as mustard seed. You have not experienced life outside your nest. The world is big and diverse. I can better be a sweeper where than to be a minister in your country where people have to remain dump, deaf and blind for all the deeds of the king. Here I live as human. I respect others and I am respected.
