ILNS elects new committee
Kathmandu, July 14: New executive committee has been elected in the Nepali’s international literary organization called International Nepali Literary Soceity (INLS) through a convention held recently in New York.
According to the organization, Mohan Sitoula has been elected to the post of president unopposed while Dr Madhu Krishna Shrestha ‘madhurya’ has been elected to the position of vice president. Similarly, Suren Uprety has been elected General Secretary, Kejin Rai as Secretary and Bashu Satyal as Treasurer.
Established a decade ago, the organization has been working for international popularization of Nepali literature and culture.
In the meantime, Bhanu Jayanti has been observed with various programmes by the ILNS chapters around the world. INLS Bhutan chapter organized poem and story recitation competition programme. Bhutan News Service
