YOB elects its president

Birtamod, Feb 26: Youth Organization of Bhutan (YOB)- youth wing of Bhutan People's Party elected Rajan Giri  residing  in California (USA) as its president on February 25.

Out of 28 votes, Giri received 18 said Party's Vice-President Jagirman Lama.

Likewise, Tika Ram Basnet and Kunti Gurung were positioned as Vice-Presidents while Hasta Khanal was elected General Secretary.

In a thanks letter addressed to executive committee of YOB, Giri has expressed his privilege to accept trust to lead the worthy cause of YOB. “I will strive to implement my plans and incorporate yours’ wherever possible for the betterment of our organization and the greater cause of Bhutanese people“.
