Indian democrats give chance to communists in Bhutan case
Kakarvitta, June 28: For the last 17 years the exiled Bhutanese failed to receive support from the Indian democrats who claim themselves as the example of democratic practitioners in the world.
Now, the mainstream communists have hinted their support for movement in Bhutan and repatriation of the exiled Bhutanese.
Three teams of the Bhutanese leaders in exile had flocked to different cities in India to seek support from the India side. The Indian communist leaders have assured that they would work out plans in support for repatriation of the exiled Bhutanese and democratization of the Bhutanese regime.
The Indian authorities have dispatch a circular a week ago banning any press conference, mass meeting and stay in hotels to the Bhutanese leaders, blatantly violating the right speech, peaceful assembly and free movement of Bhutanese citizens in India.
The circumstance emerged after the Indian democrats failed to support for democracy in Bhutan rather promoting the family rule and continued suppression of the innocent villagers and those demanding democracy and human rights.
