DNC welcomes Suu Kyi’s release

Druk National Congress (DNC) has welcomed the release of pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi by the military regime in Myanmar.
Issuing a press statement Monday, DNC chairman Rongthong Kunley Dorji said, “Her release is an inspiration to democracy loving citizens.”
He further said, DNC salutes her spirit and prays that the aspiration of genuine democracy in Myanmar is realized under her leadership.

  1. I hope the people of Myanmar heaved the same sigh of relief like the people of Bhutan when Teknath Nath Rizal was released. But TN did nothing rather than hoodwinking the innocent bhutanese in exile propagating in them nonsense hope thru meaningless speech that never came true. I believe Aung san suu kyi will not follow the footsteps of this crazy men.

  2. This is not a fitting comment on such a occassion. Only those people who have been working on such issues can realize the difficulties of delivering such tasks. I do hope the person who is writing this comment make a sole-searching evaluation of his opinion.
