Bhutan-Danish scouts join hands to serve community

Thimphu, March 25, 2009: Bhutan Scout Association (BSA) in collaboration with Danish Scout Association has started a three-day seminar on community based scouting (CBS).

 The seminar aims at orienting scouts on the concept of community based scouting and their role in community development activities like awareness campaigns on health and hygiene, life skill education.

Some 43 scouts working in government service, private business and fresh graduates have been invited to the seminar.

The Danish Scouts assured all possible assistance to ensure that Bhutanese scouts are in the position to carry out community based development program.
