BPP shows concerns for BRDSCC statement

President of Bhutan Peoples’ Party Balaram Poudel has expressed his deep concern for statement given by Bhutanese Refugee Durable Solution Coordinating Committee (BRDSCC) regarding recent Beldangi incident.

In a telephonic conversation with BNS Poudel said that he is particularly concerned with the accusation of BRDSCC that the interest of political party leaders is to keep the exiled Bhutanese hostage for their vested political interest. 

“BRDSCC must know that it is because of statement given by Hari Adhikari Bangaley that two innocent youths sacrificed their life”, told Poudel adding that every exiled Bhutanese has rights to go back to Bhutan.

“No one should try to motivate innocent citizens to opt third country resettlement”, expressed Poudel.

Earlier BRDCC accused Tek Nath Rizal and Balaram Poudel for leading some exiled Bhutanese who oppose its activities. Bhutan News Service
