Bhutan Jagaran suspends its publication
Damak, October 20: Bhutan Jagaran, the fortnightly Nepali language newspaper published by Nepali Sahitya Parishad Bhutan, has been suspended from this month due to financial constraints.
The paper was partially supported by AustCare since it began publishing in 2000. However, the support for the publication had ended in June this year.
With the closure of Bhutan Jaragan, only one newspaper – The Bhutan Reporter – survives for Bhutanese in exile. Bhutan News Service
