Bhutan top tourist destination
New Delhi, February 13: Lonely Planet, a well-known tourism institution, has included Bhutan in its list of top ten tourist destination for the year 2008.
The institution, citing the year 2008, pointed out that Bhutan is one of the world's ten best tourist destinations due to its breathtaking landscape and culture that remained unexploited for centuries.
The other destinations pointed out by Lonely Planet as good tourist destinations include Malaysia, Armenia, Montenegro in Serbia, Mozambique, Papua New Guinea and Eritrea.
Lonely Planet has published over 650 titles in 118 countries, with annual sales of more than six million guidebooks. Bhutan News Service
