YOB appeals for support to fire victims

Kathmandu, March 03: Newly elected president of Youth Organization of Bhutan Rajan Giri based in California has appealed all exiled Bhutanese in the United States to contribute for fire victims of Goldhap camp.

"This tragic incident has intensified the agony of citizens in Goldhap which I believe would adversely affect entire exiled Bhutanese population," he said. 

Giri appealed all to rise above personal differences and lend helping hands to bring the victims to normal life.

"I felt myself a part of this disaster and would like to share the grievances of our fellow people facing now in Goldhap and promise to contribute my part," added Giri.
 
He expressed that it would be better if one person could take initiative collecting fund from every single Bhutanese in the US. Bhutan News Service
