250 tents for fire victims set up

Goldhap, March 03: 250 temporary plastic tents have been set up in open area nearby the camp to shelter to fire victims of Goldhap on Monday.

Lutheran World Federation (LWF) supplied the tents. However, financial reimbursement will be made to LWF by government of Nepal as assured by Home Minister.

The situation has become difficult to manage because of large number of victims.

"We don't have enough volunteers to assist the victims here", said a victim. Due to lack of toilets, the displaced people are forced to use open areas. Bhutan News Service/Indra Timsina
