20 exiled Bhutanese enter TIA, schedule to fly at 5
Kathmandu (TIA), March 10: 20 individuals from three families have reached Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 1:30 PM today to fly to the US as part of the resettlement program.
Escorted by staffs of International Organization for Migration, IOM vehicles entered TIA without permitting media persons to inquire.
"We were not allowed to ask any questions. Nor exiled Bhutanese
were stopped when we tried", told a Nepali reporter.
Three families are from Sanischare camp. Manorath Koiral (10 members), Bedha Nidhi Timsina (6 members) and Dilli Ram Rizal (4 members) are scheduled to fly to the United States at 5:00 PM today.
Yuva Raj Koirala (8) expressed his happiness stating he would get better education in the US.
