Medical staffs of AMDA Hospital on protest
Beldangi, March 6: Local medical staffs of AMDA-Nepal working in camps have started protest demanding raise in their salary.
They are working with black ribbon on hands from two days urging to raise their monthly salary by 100 percent.
One of the officials said their salary has not been raised from seven years. They also have demanded three months of maternity leave and guarantee of their job security.
The staffs on agitation have warned that they would lock up Birtamod office and would be compelled to shutdown health care to exiled Bhutanese if their demands are not met immediately. Bhutan News Service/Arjun Pradhan
