Photo exhibition on 100 years of monarchy
Thimphu, June 03: The longest festival of the photo exhibition of the country has begun in the capital coinciding the coronation anniversary of the fourth king.
The exhibition celebrating 100 years of monarchy, that opened at the National Museum in Paro will continue till December 17.
The pictorial account of the five monarchs reflects their positive contribution to the kingdom.
The exhibition has on display 105 rare photographs that have never been seen before including a photo of first king wearing the raven crown and signing of the historic Genga in the Punakha Dzong on December 17, 1907, when monarchy for established in the kingdom. Bhutan News Service
