Sherubtse opens IT centre

Thimphu, June 03: Sherubtse College has begun operation of its IT centre, build at the cost of Nu 22 million, funded by the government of India.

The college expects to cater local people along its students on modern technology and sharing information.

Highness Ashi Dechen Yangzom Wangchuck inaugurated an IT centre.

Officiating Director of the college Dr. Shivraj Bhattarai said college has plans to introduce video conferencing and carry out research in software development in collaboration with Bhutan Telecom. Bhutan News Service
