BCA to cope up with training programs

Responding to an appeal of Arizona-based Bhutanese Community in Arizona (BCA), Director of Abounding Service, Gary Develder has said that he would be offering possible training programs to resettled exiled Bhutanese regarding how to get job in the competitive market in USA.

Addressing a program organized by the BCA in Arizona recently, Develder said his organization would be assisting possible support to resettled exiled Bhutanese through the BCA.

Develder has been running English classes to refugees and nationals in Arizona. The purpose of running English classes is to make them easy to communicate with diversity of people, be able to tutor to others who do not know how to read or write and get a better job.

Meanwhile, the president of the BCA Manorath Khanal has expressed his deep concern towards escalating incidents upon the resettled exiled Bhutanese, particularly in USA.    

Other speakers of the program included Sydal Mayer of the International Rescue Committee, Mona from Korean Chamber of Commerce and Pastor Jeffery Jackson of Cross Connection Fellowship.

Participants of the meeting also stressed on the importance of education and skillful trainings in the USA, and the unity among exiled Bhutanese.

Meanwhile, the dead body of  Sukmaya Mongar who died in an accident in Georgia was cremated on August 13. According to Dillip Dahal, a resettled exiled Bhutanese in Georgia, Sukmaya is survived by her parents and elder brother.

Dahal further informed BNS that the  procedure for seeking the compensation has been underway since the case is learnt to have been filed in the Court. 
 
Monger family, permanently hailing from Singi block while in Bhutan, were temporary residents in Timai refugee camps under Sector B/3- 43 before they moved to USA under third country resettlement.

Overwhelming concerns and message of condolences have poured in from resettled exiled Bhutanese here in USA.
