Nepal-Bhutan talks next month
Kathmandu, October 06: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Nepal K. P. Oli said foreign ministers of Bhutan and Nepal will sit for talks next month to resolve the issue of exiled Bhutanese.
Talking to reporters at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu on Friday, Oli said that he and Lyonpo Khandu Wangchuk agreed to hold a ministerial level talks in November.
This will be the 16th round of bilateral talks to resolve the crisis.
15 rounds of bilateral talks produced no breakthrough and have been stalled since a few years due to political turnover in Nepal.
Reiterating his government's wish for a respectful return of all exiled Bhutanese, Oli said, "If Bhutan tries to create hindrances in the management process, Nepal can still think of an alternative means to resolve the crisis."
